a) Feasibility studies for hydro-electric projects
in Afghanistan through Afghanistan Reconstruction
Development Services (ARDS), Ministry of Water &
Power. The services include; geological
investigations, topographical mapping, hydrological
studies, first stage environmental and social impact
studies; preliminary and feasibility design of dam,
water ways, power house, transmission facilities,
cost estimates, financial and economic analysis etc.
b) A delegation of Afghanistan visited the Nathpa
Jhakri Project w.e.f. 12.01.05 to 16.01.05. On their
return journey from the project elaborate
discussions were held with them by Director (Civil)
and GM (Consultancy) regarding the expertise of
SJVNL in Hydro Power Sector. Some members of the
visiting Afghanistan team represented Ministry of
Water and Power, Afghanistan as well, who were
apprised of the earlier correspondence in this
regard.
c) CDC, New Delhi informed that it has signed a MOU
with PSDC Malaysia to explore business opportunities
within India and Malaysia. PSDC has indicated that
the consultancy opportunities can be explored by
Indian Consultant /Consultancy Organizations in the
following sectors in Malaysia:

All statutory requirements of CEA for issue of TEC. |
